What are relationship styles?
Dictatorship
This style is based on total control. At the same time, adults are guided by good intentions. However, overprotection leads to the opposite effect – the appearance of psychological problems in the child. In this case, the maximum exactingness should correspond to the maximum of respect and trust.
Belief
This scheme is very common in families where the parent dreamed of becoming someone, but never did. As a result, he realizes himself in his children, convincing them that they need it. At the same time, the desires of children are not so important. Here the top rung is occupied by personal interests. Sometimes parents are already determining the future, the activities of their unborn children. From the point of view of psychology, such people have achieved little in their lives. They shift the responsibility for fulfilling their dreams to their children.
Friendliness
Parents are quite actively involved in the life of the child. They control him, give him personal space. There is trust in such families. Parents and children are friends, but the authority of the elders is preserved. They support friendly communication, correspond to the interests of the growing baby. The main thing in these relations is not to play too much, so that the child does not feel responsible for the parents, do not forget that friendly relations with the child are different from adults.
Insensitivity
The child often hears accusations, reproaches from elders. From the outside, parents look cruel, insensitive. The process of education is not filled with love, care, understanding, affection. Growing up in such a family, in the future the child will refuse contact with his parents. In adolescence, children give away what they were fed all childhood.
Mentoring
The wisest choice of adults is mentoring. Here the kid receives recommendations from the elders, the absence of reproaches. Independence is encouraged, wrongdoing is punished with a subsequent constructive explanation. Parents respect the opinion, the choice of offspring, while not violating their authority. This is the ideal family relationship.
